Exotic Hardwoods

Exotic hardwoods are classified as any hardwood originating from outside North America. The most popular among the exotics are slow growth hardwoods including Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry), Lapacho (Brazilian Walnut), Tigerwood, Santos Mahogany, and Cumaru (Brazilian Chestnut). These and other exotic hardwoods are known for their rich intense colour and dense grain, making them more durable and more attractive than many domestic hardwoods.
